At South Elementary School we are committed to continuous reflection and improvement. This process involves the participation of the entire staff and is driven by data collected over a number of school years. Our data analysis begins as a collective staff and continues in depth by smaller professional learning teams. A comprehensive school improvement plan is then developed based on this data analysis, addressing the needs of our students. We are committed to using data and research to provide effective instruction that reflects best practices and we continuously strive to improve learning for all children.

The faculty and staff at South Elementary School recognize the importance of developing positive parent and family communications. We are committed to fostering positive parent relationships, communicating regularly with families, and involving parents in school activities and the decision making process.
